Some pop albums capture a moment. Fever makes you want to step back into one. Twenty-five years after its arrival, Kylie Minogue’s blend of sleek electronic production, irresistible hooks, and dance-floor energy still offers plenty of reasons to press play.
Now, that era is getting an anniversary celebration. Fever (XXV Edition) arrives November 27 through Parlophone, with new vinyl and CD editions revisiting the album and its surrounding releases.
Originally released in October 2001, Fever brought together “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head,” “Love At First Sight,” “In Your Eyes,” and “Come Into My World.” Listening to those songs together, the album’s appeal feels easy to understand: Kylie makes precise, polished dance music sound effortless, giving each chorus room to shine without losing the pulse underneath.
The anniversary’s deluxe two-CD edition expands the picture with B-sides, bonus tracks, and remixes. For example, Roger Sanchez’s “Release The Dub Mix” of “In Your Eyes” sits alongside reworks from Twin Master Plan and Fischerspooner. Tracks including “Boy” and “Tightrope” offer another route into the Fever era beyond its familiar singles.
“Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” also receives a separate, limited-edition 12-inch release, exclusive to Kylie’s official store. It includes the original, an extended mix, the New Order mash-up “Can’t Get Blue Monday Out Of My Head,” and Peggy Gou’s previously released “Midnight Remix.” Together, those versions invite listeners to hear how the song works across different dance-floor settings.
Collectors can choose crystal-clear album vinyl or a store-exclusive Arctic Pearl pressing, with reflective packaging and previously unseen imagery from the original album shoot.
But the strongest invitation remains the music itself. Beneath the anniversary packaging is an album built around the pleasure of a great pop song meeting a great groove—and that is a combination with no expiration date.
