Alex Newell, best known for his recurring role on Glee has shined as a vocal powerhouse blasted into the music world thanks to some great features. Appearing on Clean Bandit’s Stronger and Blonde’s All Credit Out, Alex is no stranger to the vocal side of dance music.
Alex got his break after appearing and winning the Glee Project prize and was cast in the role of Wade “Unique” Adams. He went on to become a main cast member until the show’s end after 6 seasons. He first released a cover of hit UK group Sigma’s Nobody to Love, before his featured appearances on Clean Bandit’s and Blonde’s tracks.
Starting in February, Alex will take another journey will be joining Adam Lambert as they will be touring on a 30 city tour starting in New York, along with releasing his debut EP, entitled Power. The first track from the album, This Ain’t Over is a house-dance-pop soundscape, showcasing his vocal talents.
The album will be released on February 19th and includes production from Diane Warren and Nile Rodger.
