Singer Daya is a star on the rise, with her fledgling career already hitting stratospheric heights. Her song “Hide Away” went platinum and her smash hit “Sit Still, Look Pretty,” was gold-certified by the RIAA. Her biggest hit though, came in the form of ‘Don’t Let Me Down’, with The Chainsmokers. At just 17 years of age, she’s accomplished more in her career than most artists do in a lifetime. Her debut album, “Sit Still, Look Pretty”, drops next week (October 7th, 2016).

On her way to release the album, the singer on Friday dropped “Cool,” which is one of the strongest tracks off of Sit Still, Look Pretty, as the song shows off a repetitive but charming chorus with a catchy, steady beat. It’s not as immediately catchy as her previous hits; as the title suggest she plays it cool here.
