Martin Garrix announced that this week in honor of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), he will be releasing seven new tracks over seven days. And true to his word, he has now released the first track of the planned 7 releases – “WIEE”.
The EDM wunderkid already got two back-to-back performances scheduled for this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event at the 12,000-plus capacity Amsterdam RAI, and also an address to young fans during the biggest dance festival, but that’s just not a big enough show of star power. Staking claim to the immense gratitude he has for his fans, he announced to be dropping a song a day via his STMPD RCRDS imprint, starting Saturday, Oct. 15, which he has.
“WIEE” is a beautiful collaboration of past and present. Old school high pitched whistles that Mesto is quickly becoming known for ring out as a classic Martin Garrix distorted chord riff brings the beat in the background.
