He gave a heartfelt response upon asking him how he felt to be playing at Ultra Miami. “It’s crazy ’cause I tell everybody that it’s like the dreams you have like you aspire, but you already know that maybe you will never do it in your life, and it’s turned to be real. So yeah, just happy.” Despite his excitement, he admits to being “pretty anxious” about the big performance.

When asked what artists he would compare himself to, he responded, "It's difficult, but I have some references from EDM like David Guetta and Martin Garrix. But also I like some Casa Blanca, CamelPhat, a few other kinds of styles."

Even with an impressive 30 million listens on Spotify, there is more on the horizon for this young, successful artist. Alongside writing new music in Portuguese for the fans in his home country, Pontifexx is also working on a unique collaboration track with fellow artist Kush. The two have been working on the track for about a month and will be debuting it during their performance at Ultra Miami. It will be released shortly after.
