During Miami Music Week, we sat down and caught up with Miami-based GT Ofice in the AOC Gaming Bungalow at the Nexus Radio Lounge Miami. The talented DJ filled us in on upcoming projects, chatted about his time at MMW, and played a quick round of our Nexus Take 5 Series.
Emerging as a distinctive voice in the EDM scene, DJ GT Ofice has been creating a stir with his one-of-a-kind sound and remarkable accomplishments since his breakthrough. Boasting over 19 million streams on Spotify and a string of appearances on the Billboard Dance/Mixshow Airplay Charts, GT Ofice’s impact on the music industry is unquestionable. His electrifying performances at renowned Insomniac Music Festivals and the endorsement he has garnered from EDM powerhouses like Timmy Trumpet & R3HAB further underscore his wide-ranging influence and undeniable talent.
His recent single ‘Every Thought of You,’ a collaboration with Alwz Snny, soared to #26 on the Billboard Dance/Mixshow Airplay Charts, a testament to his knack for producing chart-topping hits. Another track, ‘Tuff’ with VASSY, not only dominated the UK Commercial Pop Radio Charts but also left its mark on the USA Dance Radio Charts and the Australian Aria Club Charts, further solidifying his global appeal.
The DJ recently dropped “No Tears”, a new club-ready dance-pop track with Matthew Topper and Sarah DeWarren. The latest in a series of excellent singles from GT Ofice, “No Tears” is the kind of track you’ll be blasting and grooving to all summer.
Getting into our interview, GT shares that he’s been enjoying his time at Miami Music Week so far, always checking out the many parties for which this event is best known.
“I live in Miami, so it’s home,” the DJ shares, adding: “but it’s not the same during music week.”
As an owner of Kane Records, GT Ofice is busy working most of the day, which has yielded some incredible results. He tells us that over the last year, he released five tracks—three charted on Billboard—and that he won’t stop until he hits that coveted No. 1 spot. Given his incredible track record, we have no doubt he can do it.
