LANA DEL REY GETTING READY FOR SUMMER FESTIVALS AND POSSIBLY ALBUM

Lana Del Rey has been back in action as of late. She has announced several tour dates, including Lollapalooza and Electric Picnic. Additionally, she also uploaded a picture to Instagram that suggests that she might be in the studio working on her fifth album.

She posted a picture on Instagram of herself in the studio, black and white, guitar in the background (see image above). In mysterious Lana fashion, she captioned it “every day,” which is pretty vague, but that is pretty much just how Lana is in general.

However, those that are fans of Lana know that she has released an album every summer for the past four years since she began her career as Lana Del Rey, so it doesn’t seem like too much of a stretch that she is likely working on her fifth album. Personally, I always look forward to summer since I know that means Lana must be coming out with another album.

Not long after she posted that picture, she also posted some info about the festivals she will be performing at soon. (Of course. It’s getting closer and closer to festival season). Those included Lollapalooza, Osheaga, Electric Picnic, and TW Classic.

At Lollapalooza , she will be performing alongside Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, LCD Soundsystem, Halsey, Ellie Goulding, Miike Snow, Years & Years, and Melanie Martinez, just to name a few. It would be insane to mention all of the big names from this year’s Lollapalooza because it would likely take up this entire article. Lollapalooza is definitely the largest of the four festivals that she recently announced she will be performing at, as it is a four-day long festival (July 28-July 31, in case you’re interested), whereas Osheaga and Electric Picnic are both three-day festivals.

The TW Classic festival is going to be a bit different from the others, as Lana’s style is so versatile. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Lionel Richie, Simply Red, The Van Jets, and CC Smugglers will all be performing. This festival is much smaller than the other three, and only a single day. Lana’s classic and easy-going sounds will fit in nicely next to Bruce Springsteen and Lionel Richie.

It looks like it’ll be quite a summer for Lana Del Rey, and we are looking forward to hearing more about what she’s doing in the studio.
