In music, age is just a number; if you have the talent – you have an audience.

The EDM world has gone gaga over the 3-year-old DJ Arch Jnr (birth name Oratile Hlongwane) performing at and winning ‘South Africa’s Got Challenge?’. Here is another child prodigy, the 11-year old DJ Aiden Jude, an New York based electronic dance music DJ.

Aiden Jude was all of 10 years, when he broke onto the EDM scene, which in itself is such a rarity, because most DJs and music producers who have achieved as much as he has are twice his age !! At the time, Jude released his first original track, “Tonight” ft Bafsica in April 2014, the track hitting the Billboard’s Dance Chart, which is unheard of any 10-year old !!

While all he has achieved in this short span of time in itself is enough to catch attention in the music world, the New York DJ is returning to the spotlight with his dance rendition of Kap Slap & Gazzo’s “Rewind”. Aiden flips the original into an incredibly catchy track, with some excellent sampling and well placed tropical house elements.

Aiden Jude’s performances include electro house, progressive house, deep house, dubstep and trap music. He credits his uncle, DJ Coleman, and musician father as his musical influences.

Aiden Jude is already off to a fantastic start in his career, and his fans will be excited for what’s to come in the near future from this phenomenal artist.
