Amsterdam Dance Event Announces First Wave of Festival Acts

Celebrating its 23rd edition, Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) will take place from October 17th-21st, 2018.

ADE began as a meeting of Dutch music professionals and has grown to the premiere international dance music conference bringing more than 5000 delegates from over 80 countries. The focus has evolved to include all aspects of the industry from technology, new genres of music, environmental concerns, and developing new generations of musicians and industry through education and employment.

When so much talent is concentrated in one city, it is no surprise that the nighttime events have grown into a massive festival. Last year’s nightlife brought nearly 400,000 visitors to see over 2500 artists in 160 different venues. The lineups are the ultimate mashup of diverse talent bringing together international superstars with beloved underground heroes and rising dis to watch.

The first batch of festival acts have been announced representing the diverse tastes of the international dance music scene. Leading the list are Martin Garrix, Hardwell, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Ame, Nicky Romero, Maya Jane Coles, Orbital, Markus Schulz, Paul Oakenfold, Sigala, Maya Jane Coles, Bonobo, Claptone, Peggy Gou and Dubfire
