Los Angeles, get ready for a full weekend of trance. Armin van Buuren has announced that A State of Trance will return to the city on June 11 and 12, 2027, marking the brand’s first two-day festival in the United States. The announcement gives American fans a new reason to circle next summer on their calendars.
Armin shared the news during an intimate pop-up performance in Los Angeles on October 8, turning a gathering of fans into the launch of ASOT’s next American chapter. The reveal comes as A State of Trance celebrates its 25th anniversary, with another major international event now on the horizon.
ASOT already has history with the city. Its 2022 ASOT 1000 celebration, for example, brought fans to Banc of California Stadium, now known as BMO Stadium. The 2027 edition expands that relationship into a two-day format, giving the community more time to come together around the music. Beatportal reports that the festival will take place at ACE*MISSION Studios.
The A State of Trance Hotel experience is also set to make its Los Angeles debut. Previously offered in Rotterdam and London, the concept brings fans together beyond the festival grounds. Earlier editions have included guest activities and pre-parties, although the specific Los Angeles package details remain to be announced.
The Los Angeles artist lineup is still under wraps, leaving plenty more to discover ahead of June. Fans can register through the official A State of Trance festival website to receive updates as the event takes shape. With two days on the calendar, ASOT’s next visit promises a bigger gathering for its U.S. trance family.
