Both Armin van Buuren and Ørjan Nilsen are well known names in the world of trance. The Dutch and Austrian producers have produced music together under the Armada Music label and have often been together on the ‘A State of Trance’, a radio show hosted by Armin van Buuren. The two have come together to produce a high-octane dancefloor anthem titled ‘Flashlight’.

In ‘Flashlight’, Armin van Buuren and Ørjan Nilsen offer up a barrage of meticulously crafted synths set to a high energy backdrop, ready to supercharge the dancefloors. The song is characterized by an interesting intro in which the word “flashlight” several times repeated. This is followed by an energetic drop that is followed by the recognizable sounds of Ørjan with Armin van Buuren providing the twist at critical points. At the end of the second drop will there be a build-up after the first drop again emerges. At just three minutes, the single packs in a punch.

This is not the first co-operation between the two. In 2012, the song ‘Belter’ came out over Armada. Additionally Ørjan has the song ‘Blue Fear’ remixed by Armin in 2012. This new track was released via Armind, a sub label of Armada. The track is part of the “A State Of Trance Ibiza 2016” compilation (CD 2).
