Greece’s biggest electronic music celebration just got even bigger. Primer Music Festival, now officially ranked #42 in DJ Mag’s prestigious Top 100 Festivals, has unveiled its full 2025 lineup—and it’s nothing short of monumental. Returning on September 6th and 7th, the festival’s latest edition will unfold at the iconic Olympic Athletic Center of Athens (OAKA), marking a new chapter in its meteoric rise.

This year’s lineup reads like a who’s who of electronic music royalty. From trance legend Armin van Buuren to techno powerhouse Boris Brejcha, big-room titan Alesso, and live performances from icons like Faithless and Paul Kalkbrenner, Primer 2025 unites multiple generations of dance music under one roof.
A New Home, A New Era
With its move to OAKA, Primer levels up both in scale and experience. The festival now boasts two distinct stages—Helios Stage and Lunar Stage—each tailored to deliver unforgettable sonic journeys. The mainstage experience begins each day with Primer resident DJ Maus, whose energy sets the tone for the weekend.
Saturday kicks off with performances from hometown favorites MĪMĪ x FY and disco-fueled grooves by Purple Disco Machine. The momentum builds as AMÉMÉ and ARTBAT bring their signature blend of tribal rhythms and melodic techno to the Helios Stage. As night falls, Armin van Buuren takes over with a headlining set sure to electrify the crowd.

Meanwhile, over at the Lunar Stage, Boris Brejcha headlines a night of pulsating techno, supported by the melodic stylings of Fideles, and sets from Hi Profile, rising star Afshin Momandi, and fresh Greek talent Kalamo, who will carry the night into the early hours.
Sunday: A Celebration of Sound
Sunday brings a shift in tempo and tone. The Helios Stage becomes the backdrop for genre-defying performances by Faithless (Live) and Paul Kalkbrenner (Live) before Alesso delivers a grand finale of euphoric anthems. Afro-house star Massuma and genre-blender SKINNY add even more depth to the day’s eclectic soundscape.

Since its 2018 debut, Primer Music Festival has become a cultural landmark for electronic music fans in Greece and beyond. With cutting-edge stage design, immersive visuals, and world-class talent, it’s a festival experience that keeps evolving—and 2025 looks to be its boldest edition yet.
With ticket demand surging, fans are encouraged to secure their place now and be part of what promises to be a defining moment in Europe’s festival calendar.
