Avicii’s Legacy Lives On With New Las Vegas Wax Figure Tribute

Avicii is once again being celebrated in the heart of the entertainment capital of the world. Madame Tussauds Las Vegas has officially unveiled a new Avicii wax figure, giving dance music fans another powerful way to honor the late EDM icon following this year’s massive EDC Las Vegas 2026 weekend.

The figure debuted at the Las Vegas attraction on May 14, arriving just as hundreds of thousands of electronic music fans descended on the city for EDC Las Vegas and its surrounding pool parties, club events, and afterhours celebrations across the Strip. Now that the festival has wrapped, the installation remains a fitting tribute to one of dance music’s most beloved artists in a city deeply tied to EDM culture.

The wax figure captures Avicii in his signature festival-era look: standing behind the decks wearing a flannel button-down shirt, backward baseball cap, and a wide smile while raising one hand toward the crowd. Fans familiar with the original New York installation may notice a slight style refresh, as the Las Vegas version swaps the black-and-white flannel for a blue, red, and black colorway. Madame Tussauds has not officially confirmed whether the New York figure was relocated or recreated for Las Vegas.

“Avicii truly embodies everything that the Las Vegas nightlife scene is known for,” said Gabriel Hewitt, General Manager of Madame Tussauds Las Vegas. “His new figure is a perfect fit for our location, and we can’t wait for guests to come see it.”

The museum also noted that the installation is intended to help fans relive Avicii’s unforgettable performances while paying tribute to his lasting legacy and impact on electronic music worldwide.

The original Avicii wax figure launched in New York in 2019 as part of a collaboration between Madame Tussauds and Avicii’s parents. The new Las Vegas installation arrives during an emotional period for fans, as April 20 marked eight years since the producer’s passing.

Even years later, Avicii’s music continues to resonate across festivals, clubs, and streaming platforms around the globe. From anthems like “Levels” and “Wake Me Up” to his lasting influence on melodic electronic music, his presence remains deeply woven into dance culture. Now, fans visiting Las Vegas have another opportunity to celebrate the artist whose music helped define a generation.
