While the musical has yet to be formally announced, a Pophouse representative confirmed to EDM.com that such a project is indeed in the planning stages. “Our job is to make sure that we have an ongoing brand mission that is talking to fans, that is engaging over time,” Nyström told Axios. “Brand engagement will always make sure that the creative projects happen. The stronger the brand, the more people actually want to work with us.”

The company is also behind “The Avicii Experience,” a museum in Stockholm dedicated to the DJ, whose real name was Tim Bergling.
