Beatport Connect LA Unveils Full Program: Industry Leaders, Artists, and Bold Conversations on Music’s Future

Beatport, the world’s largest music store for DJs, has announced the full programming and panel lineup for Beatport Connect LA, set to take place on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the W Hollywood in Los Angeles. As part of the global Beatport Connect series, this highly anticipated conference brings together leading voices from across music, culture, and industry for a day of thought-provoking panels and groundbreaking discussions.

The event kicks off with The Future of the Electronic Music Industry, featuring Red Light Management’s Stephen Satterthwaite, Wasserman’s Taryn Haight, and Living Room’s Shanon Herber in a conversation about the trends, challenges, and innovations shaping the global electronic scene. Audiences will also get an intimate behind-the-scenes look with Francis Mercier and Team, where the DJ/producer joins his creative director, agent, and operations manager—alongside Billboard Dance’s Katie Bain—to reveal the inner workings of breaking an artist in today’s competitive landscape.

Technology takes center stage in AI & Creativity, where experts like Roland’s Paul McCabe, Reed Smith’s Josh Love, and DJ/producer Rebuke explore how artificial intelligence is transforming production, songwriting, and remixing while raising questions of ethics and ownership. Social media’s grip on artistry is examined in Breaking Through in the Attention Economy, with Dirtybird’s Moody Jones, Interscope Capitol’s Max Weinberg, publicist Sara Hartzell, DJ Dillon Francis, and journalist Rachel Brodsky discussing how artists balance authenticity with algorithm-driven visibility.

Other highlights include an Artist Focus with Sofi Tukker, offering fans a deep dive into the duo’s creative journey and career milestones, and Nightlife, Identity & Safe Spaces, where DJ Minx, Gregory Alexander, Saturn Risin9, and others address the vital role of queer artists, challenges of gentrification, and the preservation of inclusive spaces. The program also features From Streams to Stages, which examines how Twitch, Insomniac, and Circa are reimagining fan engagement across platforms, and Beyond Burnout, where artists and executives like Kelly Lee Owens and Claire Wright discuss how to stay grounded in a fast-paced industry.

Tickets for Beatport Connect LA are on sale now, with 50% of proceeds benefitting MusiCares. Following successful editions in New York, Johannesburg, Melbourne, Tokyo, and Mexico City, this Los Angeles installment reinforces Beatport’s global commitment to championing local electronic music communities while sparking conversations that define the future of the industry.
