In just four editions, Chicago’s ARC Music Festival has managed to become the cornerstone of a thriving electronic dance scene. Taking place August 30th to September 1st in the city’s beautiful Union Park, ARC 2024 returns to the city with its strongest lineup yet—an exciting mix of DJs that runs the gamut from house to techno to dubstep and everything in between.
An international symbol of house and techno music since its inaugural edition in 2021, ARC is as much for the hardcore lover of EDM as it is for the casual listener of electronic music. And as it’s just around the corner, we’re taking a closer look at the ARC 2024 lineup and breaking down all of the acts we’re most excited to catch.

1. Carl Cox B2B Green Velvet
In one of the most anticipated sets of the weekend, dance music legends Carl Cox and Chicago native Green Velvet will be joining forces in a B2B that’s sure to be unforgettable. This will be the duo’s second time playing together ever, with their first joint performance taking place 15 years ago during 2009’s EXIT Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia.
2. Honey Dijon
While she might be based in New York and Berlin today, Honey Dijon is another Chicago-born visionary featured on this year’s ARC lineup. Bringing her unique blend of house and techno to the ARC stage, and best known for her dynamic sets and deep connection to the roots of house music, Honey Dijon’s performance promises to be a highlight of the festival.
3. Charlotte De Witte
As much of an innovator as she is a techno legend, Charlotte De Witte is one of the biggest and most exciting names slated to grace the ARC stage this year. Fresh off the release of her 2024 singles “Roar” and “How You Move”, Charlotte is perhaps best known for her groundbreaking Overdrive production show, which she spent the last two years touring worldwide.
4. Purple Disco Machine
Grammy Award-winning Purple Disco Machine is one of the most talked-about names on the scene today. A disco legend in his own right and best known for his chart-topping remixes featuring the likes of Lizzo and Dua Lipa, he’ll be lighting up the ARC stage with his infectious grooves and blend of classic disco and modern house.
5. Mau P
Rocket-launched into the zeitgeist with his addictive hit “Drugs From Amsterdam,” Mau P has managed to curtail his initial successes into an impressive international career thanks to his ballistic tech-house mixes and undeniable stage presence. One of the most rapidly rising stars on the scene today, Mau P’s ARC set is one of the most highly-anticipated of the weekend.
