Christina Aguilera has hinted on her Twitter account that her album may be close to finish. A very heartfelt picture was posted earlier this month showing Christina Aguilera writing lyrics for her first studio album since “Lotus” in 2012 while sitting at her piano, and she also teased the fans that this is going to be a very personal record, as it is from the ‘heart’. The picture was posted on her Twitter account along with the phrase “Finishing touches to my heart”.

In 2014 Christina spoke about a new album when she confessed working with Pharrell Williams, her co-worker at the American version of The Voice, and apparently he pleased her ears, as she said “During my pregnancy, I had a meeting with [Pharrell] and just connected on where I want to take the next album, and we started talking music, and he has one song in particular that I love.”. The Grammy winner also stated that she wants to be sure that this album is right and it is genuine and heartfelt and that she is very excited to pour her heart out into this record fully.In
In 2015, she told Entertainment Tonight she was working on new music but didn’t want to rush anything, and said: “am working with some incredible new people that, even I’m surprised, and then also re-joining with some dear friends of mine, collaborators like the beautiful Linda Perry.” One of her latest appearances was a commercial for Oreo’s Dunk Challenge, a video showing Christina Aguilera riding a bike on a string and then acrobatically turning upside down to perfectly dunk her cookie on a cup of milk. She also appeared on an ABC special called “Taking The Stage”, featuring Dave Grohl, Usher, Mary J Blige, Stevie Wonder, Ne-Yo, and others.
Seems like a brand new Christina Aguilera studio album is on the way and we are all excited to hear it!
