Every year, Montreal’s Igloofest transforms the city’s historic Old Port into an electrifying hub of music, snow, and good vibes. Complete with mulled wine, campfires, and revelers clad in snowsuits, Igloofest is the winter event of the year, with this year’s edition featuring some of the biggest names in the dance world as well as dozens of local acts. From Claptone and Mahmut Orhan to Skepta and Bladee, the month-long party that was Igloofest 2025 offered a little something for every kind of dance music fan.

This year’s edition featured countless standouts, but here are Nexus Radio’s favorite’s from Igloofest 2025:
• COUCOU CHLOE
French producer and DJ COUCOU CHLOE made her Igloofest (and Montreal) debut with a DJ set that blended dark, atmospheric sounds with sultry rhythms and several deep cuts. Known for her moody and ethereal production, her set was a perfect balance of hypnotic beats and experimental electronica, drawing from all kinds of musical genres to create an eclectic and energetic set. • Mahmut Orhan

Hailing from Turkey, Mahmut Orhan’s mesmerizing blend of deep house, ethnic rhythms, and smooth melodies brought a fresh and unique flavor to Igloofest 2025. His set was a journey through ambient soundscapes and melodic house, mixing traditional instruments with modern beats. It was an unforgettable experience that transported the audience to another world, with Orhan’s distinct fusion of cultures resonating deeply with festivalgoers.
• Claptone

One of the most highly anticipated performances of the festival, Claptone’s set at Igloofest 2025 was a masterclass in deep house and techno. The enigmatic DJ and producer, known for his iconic golden mask and larger-than-life stage presence, brought the heat to the Igloofest mainstage with a seamless blend of driving basslines and infectious melodies. There’s a reason why Claptone is a Nexus Radio favorite—he never disappoints.
• Four Tet

Closing out Igloofest 2025 with an ethereal and experimental set, Four Tet’s performance was one of the highlights of Igloofest 2025. The British producer delivered a hypnotic mix of organic beats and intricate rhythms that left the crowd entranced, featuring a mix of old and new favorites. There was truly no better way to end the festival than with Four Tet’s ambient, euphoric melodies and deep bass lines.
