Italian dance music artist Gamuel Sori visited us at the Lee Jeans pop-up studio during the Nexus Lounge Amsterdam. We had a blast chatting about his hot new track, “Us,” and getting the inside scoop on his adventures at ADE 2023.

Gamuel Sori is an Italian DJ and producer, causing quite a stir in the dance music scene. In the initial stages of building his recording catalog, what’s already emerged from his studio has turned heads within the industry and garnered attention from the global community.

It all started with the infectious vibes of “Money’s Gone” in 2020, a funky, feel-good tune that was irresistible. Since then, Gamuel Sori has kept us entranced in a sultry groove, delivering hits like “Perder (Hakuna)” alongside Sinego, the dynamic “Genesis” collaboration with Mr. Belt and Wezol, the enchanting “Early In The Morning,” and his latest gem, “Us,” featuring the sensational Lovespeak.

“Us” embarks on a musical journey, weaving a soothing, laid-back vibe. At the same time, its heartwarming lyrics explore the faces of love. “I like songs when I can also throw a lot of background stories about myself or old experiences. But I always wanted to keep it emotional to let the audience see themselves in it and maybe use that song to escape,” says Gamuel Sori.

It’s no surprise that esteemed platforms like BBC Radio 1 and Spinnin’ Records have been singing the praises of Gamuel Sori’s talent. His diverse genre influences and knack for crafting a unique atmosphere that resonates on a personal level distinguish him as a top-tier performer. Not only is he a force to be reckoned with behind the decks, igniting dance floors in various countries, but he’s also graced notable spots and events like Kiss FM in Romania and the YSL Beauty MYSLF fragrance launch in Paris.

While he loves sharing his beats far and wide, something about the Amsterdam Dance Event keeps drawing him back for more. “I can get excited even by meeting people I only meet during ADE. Maybe we made music or chatted a lot, and then we can finally meet in person here, so that’s my favorite thing about it.”

At the end of the interview, Gamuel Sori teased new music in the pipeline. "I have a lot of new music. My label and I are trying only to pick the right time for the right single, so it's all about the schedule."
