GRAMMY LINEUP NOW INCLUDES JACK Ü

The 2016 Grammy Awards are fast approaching, and the lineup just keeps getting longer and more impressive! It has recently been announced that a live performance slot has been given to Skrillex and Diplo, performing as the duo Jack Ü.

As Mixmag says, “Unavoidably, Skrillex and Diplo will be joined by their collaborator Justin Bieber for the assumed performance of ‘Where Are Ü Now’, which is up for a Grammy nomination as the Best Dance Recording this year.” Jack Ü is additionally up for Best Dance/Electronic Album of the Year for their self-titled debut. Diplo is also in the running for Producer of the Year (Non-Classical) on his own.

Given that Skrillex is already the winner of six Grammys and both Diplo and Bieber have been nominated in the past (though not yet taken home the prize), their chances for a win this year seem to be pretty good.

“The 58th Annual Grammy Awards will broadcast live February 15th at 8 p.m. ET. LL Cool J will serve as host,” reports Rolling Stone, “while previously announced performers include Adele, Ellie Goulding, Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Little Big Town, the Weeknd, Carrie Underwood, James Bay, Andra Day, Tori Kelly, Sam Hunt and the cast of Hamilton.”
