The origin of the name M07 is central to that story. It references the “Warsaw Highway,” the route leading from Kyiv toward Poland, a powerful symbol of transition during a period of upheaval. “M zero seven is actually the name of the highway from Kyiv out of Ukraine into Warsaw,” he explained. The name encapsulates themes of displacement, resilience, and forward motion—ideas that consistently surface in his work.
Surrounded by a wide spectrum of electronic music and creative spaces, M07 spoke about how immersion in diverse sounds fuels inspiration.
