îLESONIQ 2025: Montréal’s Biggest Dance Weekender Turns 10

Montréal’s îLESONIQ festival turns 10 this year, and it’s showing no signs of slowing down. From its home base at Parc Jean-Drapeau, the two-day event (August 9–10) is once again bringing together some of the biggest names in electronic music—and a few surprises—for what’s become one of Canada’s most anticipated dance weekends.

This year’s headliners speak to the scale of the occasion. John Summit returns fresh off a solo stadium sellout last fall. Illenium is back too, this time with a main stage set of his own. Also on the bill: chart regular Steve Aoki makes his îLESONIQ debut, and Alesso brings his polished, euphoric touch.

The rest of the lineup is solid from top to bottom. MAU P, Sofi Tukker, and BUNT. cover the festival’s pop-forward edge, while acts like Chase & Status, Tape B b2b Levity, and Ray Volpe b2b Kai Wachi, keep things heavy on the bass side.

For techno and house fans, the Coca-Cola NEON stage once again delivers, with Sara Landry, Layton Giordani, Eli Brown, Cassian, and LP Giobbi, all confirmed. The stage itself gets an upgrade too—320 speakers, CO2 jets, lasers, and even bubble machines aim to make this year’s setup more immersive than ever.

As for the parties? îLESONIQ now extends beyond the park gates. The weekend officially kicks off with îLESONIQ in the City on August 8, a downtown club night series featuring festival artists in more intimate venues. And for those not ready to stop when the festival ends each night, the îLESONIQ Afterparties keep things going into the early hours. It’s not new programming, but it’s steadily become one of the festival’s best-kept traditions.

îLESONIQ’s 10th edition is shaping up to be more than just a festival—it’s a full weekend experience. Whether you’re raving under the mainstage lights or diving deep into after-hours sets, there’s something for every kind of dance fan. Nexus Radio will be on the ground covering the action, so stay tuned for exclusive artist interviews, behind-the-scenes content, and live updates all weekend long!

Weekend passes for ILESONIQ start at $250 CAD, and ticket proceeds continue to support the evenko foundation.
