Electronic music producers DJ Kaskade and ZHU teased Thursday (April 7) of a possible collaboration on ZHU’s facebook page. Fans waited with bated breath of what a collaboration between the two prolific music producers would bring forth.  Their wait ended yesterday Kaskade and ZHU dropping their single together ‘In The Morning’. Come April 11th, the track has been released across most music portals.

The single is actually a reinterpretation of Zhu’s newest single, ‘In The Morning.’ While the original had a much more ‘Faded’ vibe to it, this version relies heavily on the groove from acoustic guitar plucks and a soft, sultry bassline, a Kaskade signature, much like his deep house mid-2000s tracks like “4am”. Both work for different moods and DJ sets that should appeal to both sets of fans despite the change of sound. Overall, it’s a solid effort and we can definitely say that we’re into it.
