Emmy nominations have just been announced, and Katy Perry is in the running for her performance during the halftime show of the Superbowl! The specific category the pop star is nominated for is “Outstanding Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Program.” According to Billboard, Perry has been nominated for thirteen Grammys, but has never won.

Perry said on Twitter after hearing the news: “Um…Woke up to my first Emmy nomination for the Halftime show!!! V proud of everyone involved especially #leftshark.”
