Leandro Da Silva, a prominent figure in Italy’s House Music scene, has crafted a unique sound that resonates globally. His fusion of Brazilian roots and Italian passion has earned him a spot on DJ Magazine’s ‘Top 100 DJs’ list at No. 109 and multiple Top 150 DJ spots. The DJ and producer’s remix for David Guetta and Sia’s “Flames topped Beatport and hit 7 million Spotify streams, showcasing Leandro’s remixing prowess alongside notable works for artists like Demi Lovato and Clean Bandit. Leandro’s electrifying performances have graced global stages, from Club Chrome Seoul to Federal Music Festival, solidifying his status as an electronic music powerhouse.

Leandro’s latest track, “Plof Plof, is a fusion house-rap track featuring the punchy vocals of Brazilian-born rapper MC Beatriz and the production touch of 3Beat. It’s a fiery and grooving collaboration that marries the best of Brazilian rap and Italian house and is one of Leandro’s most exciting projects to date.

Getting to our interview, Leandro shares that he’s happy to be back at Miami Music Week and, more specifically, the Nexus Lounge. A regular in Miami (and at the Lounge), Leandro’s schedule is packed with sets across the city. The DJ tells us that he likes to use the audiences at MMW to preview and try out current projects and upcoming releases and even teases about upcoming releases through his very own label, Black Lizard Records.
