Have you been craving live music? Yeah, so have we. Unfortunately, it may be some time before music events are fully back in the swing of things. So until then, we thought we’d try and help in a bit of a different way. First, hopefully, you’ve all been enjoying our station. Many of the artists we’ve been playing recently have been trying to support their fans in interesting ways during the COVID-19 pandemic. Particularly Gryffin.
Just in early April Gryffin put on a live hour set for his fans to enjoy. If you didn’t catch it the first time, you can check it out here. Now this was no small attempt to bring his fans music during these strange, strange times. Gryffin performed a full hour set titled “Digital Mirage” in what is assuming beautiful Los Angeles, with a backdrop of the Pacific Ocean! If you are looking to feel some semblance of normalcy .. definitely check this out! Gryffin really outdid himself with this set. Not only will you get to see one of the electronic music community’s favorite producers throw down a great set, you’ll also get those good-feel vibes that Gryffin is known to deliver.
How is Gryffin helping even further? Well, we think this is super cool. Gryffin added a support link in the description of his live set. The link redirects to a relief fund that is put on by Sweet Relief specifically to help musicians while the live music scene has been put on hold. Obviously music is near and dear to our heart so to see programs out there that support artists in this time of need is great. If you’d like to learn more you can find more information here.
If you’d like to keep up to date with live sets from Gryffin we’d suggest subscribing to his YouTube channel. It seems that he’s trying to be consistent in providing great content not only limited to live sets during this COVID-19 pandemic. We’ll keep an eye out for other great ways to stay connected with your favorite artists and in the meantime, check out our radio show. We’ll keep that live music craving satiated!
