While watching a livestream of a concert or festival will never be the same as actually being there, if you invite a few friends over, it can get awfully close!
Lollapalooza tenth year starts tomorrow in Chicago’s Grant Park and runs through Sunday. Tickets have been selling out faster and faster each year, but if you didn’t manage to get your hands on some this year, that doesn’t mean you can’t watch the show. Rolling Stone reports that you can watch sets in real time by tuning in to Red Bull TV’s Lollapalooza livestream. The broadcast will feature “not only artist performances but exclusive interviews, live chats, behind-the-scenes footage and highlight reels” hosted by Sal Masekela and Ted Stryker.
Highlights include: Tove Lo (Friday at 3:00 p.m.), Dillon Francis (Friday at 7:00 p.m.), Alabama Shakes (Friday at 7:30 p.m.), the Weeknd (Friday at 8:30 p.m.), Kaskade (Friday at 8:45 p.m.), Django Django (Saturday at 3:00 p.m.), Charli XCX (Saturday at 3:45 p.m.), Metallica (Saturday at 8:15 p.m.), Paul McCartney (Sunday at 7:30 p.m.), and Bassnectar (Sunday at 9:30 p.m.).
