Manuel Riva Returns, Teaming Up Once Again With Eneli For Their Latest Sure-Hit Track, “Strangers to Lovers”

Manuel Riva, the electrifying DJ and producer, has made waves with his Billboard Dance chart-toppers like “Mhm Mhm,” “Miami,” and “What Mama Said.” Despite his extensive experience in the music scene, where he served as the creative force behind many Romanian dance sensations, the world got a taste of the Manuel Riva project just a few years back.

The DJ and producer, whose name lights up the Billboard charts, has swiftly earned a place in the hearts of Deep House enthusiasts both in Romania and across the globe. From the moment he unleashed his debut track, “Mhm Mhm,” there was no turning back. Released under Radikal Records in 2016, “Mhm Mhm” skyrocketed to international acclaim, securing a spot in the Top 20 on the Billboard Dance Club Chart. In addition, it dominated the Shazam Charts in Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Moldova, Armenia, Lithuania, and beyond, cementing its status as a global sensation.

Continuing his streak of international triumphs, Manuel Riva teamed up with Alexandra Stan for his next hit, “Miami.” The track quickly climbed to the top of the Romanian charts, marking Manuel Riva’s second single to enter the Billboard Chart. This time, it soared into the Top 10 of the Billboard Dance Club Songs while also clinching a spot on the Billboard Hot Dance and Electronic Songs Chart.

Riva’s creative journey continued with two dynamic collaborations alongside vocalist Misha Miller on Radikal Records. “Sacred Touch” in 2017 and “What Mama Said” in 2019 both brought their unique blend of talents to the forefront. Adding to their allure, both tracks were accompanied by captivating music videos directed by Alex Volintiru.

His tracks have also found their way into the playlists of esteemed artists like Tiesto, Sam Feldt, Oliver Heldens, and many others.

And now, Manuel Riva joins forces again with fellow Romanian sensation Eneli for their heartfelt new single, “Strangers to Lovers.” Building on the global triumph of their earlier collaboration, “Mhm Mhm,” Manuel Riva delves back into his signature theme – the Universe, this time accompanied by a visually stunning music video crafted with the assistance of artificial intelligence.

This release not only unveils a captivating track but also shines a spotlight on the genuine story of friendship between the two artists.

"'Strangers to Lovers' is a story of love and perseverance and talks about the fight for love, regardless of the obstacles encountered on the way to the other, and the lyrics will resonate with many listeners," says Eneli.

"Strangers to Lovers" continues Manuel Riva's characteristic theme – the Universe: "For me, the connection between the cosmos and us, humans, represents a recurring theme. The song's story can be seen as a metaphor for a love that knows no bounds and extends to unimaginable levels. The stars are interconnected in a subtle way, similar to the deep connections that people can have," says Manuel Riva.

The video, conceptualized by Manuel Riva and brought to life under the direction of MGM, stays true to the theme, unfolding the touching narrative of two star-crossed astronauts who discover love amidst the vast expanse of space.

Released on Friday, January 19th, “Strangers to Lovers” is enchanting listeners on major streaming platforms through Radikal Records and Roton Music. And if you’re craving more of Manuel Riva’s magic, don’t forget to check out his debut full-length album, “Stardust,” released in 2023.
