We caught up with the incredible Martin Trevy at the KEF pop-up studio during Nexus Lounge Amsterdam! This Italian-Colombian DJ and multi-talented artist spilled the beats on his latest single, love for music, and even joined our Take 5 series!
Martin Trevy, a dual citizen with Italian roots and Colombian heritage, is a versatile artist excelling in various roles – singer, songwriter, composer, producer, performer, and DJ. His forte lies in crafting emotional and uplifting melodies, with a knack for writing lyrics in both Spanish and English. Martin has become a prominent figure in Colombia’s electronic music scene, boasting over 350,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
Martin first rocked the stage at ULTRA Colombia 2022, unveiling his fresh show to a massive crowd of over 25,000 fans. He earned direct support from global heavyweights like Tiësto, Sam Feldt, Lost Frequencies, Nicky Romero, Alok, and others. Plus, he’s shared the spotlight with big names such as Karol G, Afrojack, Bad Bunny, Zion Y Lennox, DJ Snake, and KSHMR.
In 2023, Martin hit the stage at five Ultra Music Festivals across Latin America – Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, and Guatemala. He took the prime-time spot at MainStage and performed at other major festivals like Waku Experiences in Caracas. But that’s not all; he brought the beats to renowned clubs like NewCityGas in Canada and even showcased his talents at the Tomorrowland show at Ushuaïa Ibiza.
Adding to his impressive list of performances, Martin recently wowed the crowd at the 2023 Amsterdam Dance Event, where he unveiled his latest electrifying club track, ‘Love For You.’ This fresh single joins his already stellar collection of popular dance tunes, solidifying his status as an emerging electronic maestro. With its infectious beats, ‘Love For You’ is poised to become a dancefloor anthem worldwide.
"It started out as an idea that I wanted to test out in a club show I had in Montreal, and the response was so crazy that as soon as I got off stage, I was like, 'Okay, I have to finish this record.' I then wrote some lyrics to it. And yeah, the rest is history," the DJ recalled how "Love For You" came to be.
Martin Trevy skillfully crafted this energetic dance club jam, weaving a sonic masterpiece that blends melodic elements to transport listeners into a euphoric trance. The music builds incredible tension, setting the stage for a hard-hitting, club-ready drop bound to get bodies moving.

When asked which global issue he’d solve overnight, his heartfelt response was clear: “Ending wars. Just spreading more love for everyone, living in the frequency of love. That would be my ultimate wish.”
