We sat down with Italian DJ OverSky at the Lee Jeans Pop-Up Studio at the Nexus Lounge Amsterdam. An exciting new voice in the world of electronic music, OverSky shared his thoughts on the iconic Amsterdam Dance Event and played a round of our Take 5 Series.
If there’s one thing you need to know about OverSky, it’s that when it comes to music, this artist is all about changing it up. Jumping from genre to genre. And whether it’s future house, minimal techno, pop, or any other style, OverSky will surely infuse his music with his signature touch.
The DJ has played worldwide, from India to London and everything in between, and his music has been released through several labels, including In My Opinion, Reload Music, Semantic Sounds, Teamwork Records, CLUBWRK, Revealed Recordings, and Crash & Smile.
OverSky’s latest solo release, “The Power of Dreams”, is a mix of classic and progressive techno at its best. Another recent drop, a techno remix of Eurythmic’s “Sweet Dreams” created in collaboration with Luca Testa and Jack Mazzoni, boldly features OverSky’s innovative touch.
When it comes to ADE, OverSky says that he’s happy to be here and that he looks forward to lots of new releases he’s gotten to preview. He’s currently in the process of creating a studio for himself and shares that he’s big on exploring different genres of music, including pop production.
The Italian DJ plays a quick game of our Take 5 Series before heading out. During this, he shares his next career steps and that one of his DJing highlights was playing Ministry of Sound in London. He also takes the time to outline how his musical style has changed over the years…
