Apparently, Sophie Ellis-Bextor isn’t so ready to leave behind her Wanderlust era just yet. It has just been announced that she will also be announcing a remix album called Wandermix to accompany the release.

“From the beginning, Wanderlust has been an incredible project to work on. I have been able to make actual so many of the ideas I’ve had – or the ideas of the folk involved in the album,” Sophie says on her official website. “Now, I’m very pleased to announce Wandermix, the final installment of that. It’s a long playing remix of some of the songs from Wanderlust, which has been done by Roy Kerr (aka Freelance Hellraiser).

Ms. Sophie Ellis-Bextor did indeed warn us this would happen, adding: “See? I told you I wouldn’t leave dance music behind for good.”

While the artist has released multiple tracks and albums in the UK and the rest of the world, only a few singles have been picked up by US record labels. Her most famous tracks in the US are “Heartbreak” with the Freemasons, Not Giving Up On Live with Armin van Burren and Get Over You.
