In true march fashion the coming Spring will bring about the sun and warm temperatures that will melt the snow and welcome the vernal equinox. This reaction has also begun with the Spring Awakening festival ads complete with performers hitting Youtube.

If you’ve watched anything on the streaming site you’ll probably have seen the beautiful Chicago landscape, still snowbound, come under the banner of the fourth annual concert. In the add performers Zedd, Hardwell, Tiesto, Martin Garrix and several more are all announced as headliners and dates June 12-14 are given as reminders to get out and buy tickets. General admission as well as VIP (21+) 3-day tickets are still available for purchase. The VIP comes with a heftier package of take home swag as well as access to higher end areas with a complete liquor selection for all you non-beer drinking connoisseurs.

The Spring Awakening festival takes place in beautiful Soldier Field and takes festival goers through the winding beauty of the Museum Campus area, showing off all that the city has to offer before the appetizing entree of the festivities. The ironic title of the festival is more of a sendoff to Spring as we enter Summer or a tribute to Spring haven sprung but I can leave those semantics out.
