The Nexus Lounge Miami Returns in 2018

Chicago, IL, February 12, 2018 – Award winning broadcaster Nexus Radio will return to South Beach Miami during Miami Music Week and Ultra Festival weekend with an expanded two-day event.  Nexus will convert the stylish hot-spot Drinkhouse Fire & Ice Bar on Collins Avenue into a pop-up “Nexus Lounge” from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 22nd and Friday, March 23rd.

In its fourth edition, the Nexus Lounge Miami will feature notable electronic-dance music acts with live sets that will be simulcasted across several affiliate stations and social media, with multiple interviews taking place on the red carpet, and inside the luxurious 23-degree Ice Palace and Fire Bar.

Due to the success of the Nexus Lounge Miami 2017, the station has expanded the event to two days which will allow the station to host additional interviews and DJ performances.

Nexus Radio is once again partnering up with pioneering trance channel Ascendance Radio, and is looking to team-up with other premier media outlets for exclusive on-site interviews and coverage.

Drinkhouse Fire & Ice is located at 1672 Collins Avenue in heart of South Beach near Lincoln Avenue. The event will be open to the public.  Drinkhouse is Miami’s first Ice Vodka Bar and Experimental Cocktail Fire lounge featuring a jaw-dropping 100,000 pounds of ice embedded with genuine crystals.   The 23-degree crystal palace is a Nordic fantasy along with its fire companion, the Fire Bar featuring flickering flames and a bar made out of genuine stone.

Live DJ sets will be announced in the weeks leading up to the event. Be sure to add the Nexus Lounge Miami to your Miami Music Week calendar!
