Are you interested in attending Ultra 2025? Here’s everything you need to know about this iconic festival ahead of its highly anticipated flagship 25th-anniversary edition, set to take place March 28, 29, and 30th of next year:
- Some History: Established in 1999 by Russel Faibisch and Alex Omes, the Ultra Music Festival has solidified its status not only within Miami’s nightlife but also on the global electronic dance music festival circuit, branding itself as the “world’s premier electronic music festival.” Garnering the International Dance Music Awards for Best Music Event from 2008 to 2011, Ultra has evolved from its inception to encompass every sub-genre of house and techno music.
- Location, Location, Location: Having migrated across various locations in the city, from Bicentennial Park to Miami’s beachfront, the festival is now firmly based at Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami, where festivalgoers can enjoy the views of the beautiful Biscayne Bay while taking in the sounds of sets from EDM’s biggest talents. This location is truly the ultimate setting for Ultra, easily accessible by car and transit and surrounded by tons of accommodation options, from luxurious hotels to affordable rentals.
- When to Buy Tickets: We highly recommend purchasing tickets for Ultra 2025 in advance, as the festival typically sells out months before the event. You’ll also save by buying in advance as Ultra’s ticket availability is divided into three tiers, with prices increasing incrementally as the festival gets closer.
- Exploring Ultra’s Stages: Ultra 2024 featured an incredible seven stages, from the recently added RESISTANCE stage to Ultra’s iconic Main Stage. If it’s your first time attending the event, we recommend getting there early to explore the grounds and get familiar with Ultra’s layout before heading out to catch your favorite DJs. - Who’s Playing Ultra 2025? : While there’s no lineup announced yet for the 2025 edition of Ultra, we’ve already got some idea of who might be in attendance. Most notably, Carl Cox shared that he’ll be returning to Ultra in 2025 after fans noticed his absence from the 2024 lineup.
- Don’t Forget The Afterparties: With a typical day at Ultra ending just before midnight, you’ll have the time to check out some of the exciting afterparties taking place during Ultra weekend. One of our favorites is M2, host to Ultra’s RESISTANCE Miami club residency and often featuring the festival’s headliners in a more intimate setting.
