Miami Music Week was a whirlwind for Belgian DJ-producer Yves V. He deboarded his plane and immediately hit three clubs on the very first night he arrived. But seeing as he had two of the biggest records of the moment, that doesn’t come as much of a surprise.
Yves V’s collaboration with Sam Feldt and Rozes, “One Day,” is flying high on radio while his track with KSHMR, “No Regrets,” was on every DJ’s playlist. “I don’t think in genres. For me, it’s all about the music.”
Touring is his biggest inspiration. “I meet so many people, so many different cultures.” What inspires me the most is “the reactions, the feedback, and the energy” of the crowd. Though he admits that travelling is also his greatest challenge, “spending time home with my family and being on the road.”
Always very appreciative and thankful, Yves V emotionally says “I’m doing what I love to do, it’s my passion.” That’s the statement of a true artist.
