Up and coming artist Sam Smith scored big at this year’s Grammy Awards, taking home the Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album awards. Sam Smith is known for being featured on numerous hits and is most known for Disclosure’s “Latch” track.
“Before I made this record I was doing everything to try to get my music to the world,” Smith said at the ceremony, according to the L.A. Times. “I tried to lose weight and was making awful music. It was only until I started to be myself that the music flowed.
