David Guetta’s list of career achievements just got even longer. The French DJ and producer has officially been selected to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as part of the Class of 2027, becoming one of the latest music icons to earn one of entertainment’s highest honors.
The announcement was made during a livestream from Funko Hollywood, where actress Ming-Na Wen and music legend Sheila E. revealed the newest group of Walk of Fame recipients. Guetta will be recognized in the Recording category alongside an impressive class that includes Lil Wayne, Karol G, Linkin Park, The Smashing Pumpkins, Sia, the Ramones, and Grandmaster Flash. Country music legend Waylon Jennings will also receive a posthumous star.
For Guetta, it’s another landmark moment in a career that has helped redefine electronic music. Long before dance music became a staple of mainstream radio, he was blending EDM with pop, creating collaborations that introduced millions of listeners to the genre. Hits like Titanium, When Love Takes Over, Without You, and I’m Good (Blue) have become global anthems, while his festival performances continue to draw massive crowds around the world.

Other notable names include Pedro Pascal, Kate Hudson, Idris Elba, Elle and Dakota Fanning, Lisa Kudrow, Adam Scott, Keke Palmer, Charlamagne Tha God, Nicole Scherzinger, and Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos.
“The Walk of Fame Selection Committee is proud to welcome the Class of 2027 to one of the most enduring symbols of achievement in entertainment,” said committee chairman Peter Roth. “These extraordinary individuals have each made a lasting impact on audiences around the world through their talent, creativity, and dedication to their craft.”
The date for Guetta’s star ceremony has not yet been announced. Each recipient has up to two years to schedule their official unveiling after being selected.
