Demi Lovato Teams Up With Fall Out Boy

Fall Out Boy is trading Patrick Stump’s vocals for Demi Lovato’s – for one song, at least. The band just revealed that they have re-recorded their song “Irresistible” with Lovato on lead, to be released this coming Friday as their next single, according to Billboard.

The song originally appeared on FOB’s sixth studio album “American Beauty/American Psycho” back in January, with Stump on vocals as usual. But they decided that it was time to try something a little different. “I think Demi Lovato has one of the most powerful voices today,” said bassist Pete Wentz. “So we worked through an afternoon and she just got it. Excited for you guys to hear this new version of the song on Friday.”

It’s good to change things up a bit sometimes, especially when you’ve just announced a tour to continue promoting the album. They’ll be stopping in 20 North American cities with AWOLNATION and Pvris on their “Wintour is Coming” tour from February 25th to March 26th.

Brace yourselves for what promises to be a great single and upcoming tour!
