KYLIE MINOGUE ANNOUNCES ENGAGEMENT

She’s been sporting a huge diamond on ‘that’ finger for the past two months, but it was not until Feb 17, was the engagement confirmed.

And after weeks of hints and speculation, Kylie Minogue has announced her engagement to British actor Joshua Sasse, after a six-month romance. The ‘I Should Be So Lucky In Love‘ pop star, 47, revealed the upcoming nuptials to Sasse, 28, less than 48 hours after her husband-to-be sent fans into a frenzy by calling her his fiancee.

The couple have announced their engagement via a traditional marriage announcement in the pages of London’s The Daily Telegraph beneath the names Mr J. S. von Sasse and Miss K. A. Minogue. It simply read: “The engagement is announced between Joshua, son of the late Dominic Sasse and of Mary Heale (nee Macauley), of Herefordshire, and Kylie, eldest daughter of Ronald and Carol Minogue, of Melbourne, Australia.”

Joshua grew up in London before training at Exeter based drama school, Cygnet Training Theatre. The handsome actor has starred in TV shows The Neighbors and Rogue, before landing his role as Galavant in the new comedy programme in 2015. Minogue met her husband-to-be in September 2015, when she appeared as a guest on his show Galavant. She has since spoken publicly about their romance. “I have a love of my life which is just a beautiful thing. I am kind of on cloud nine most of the time because of Mr. Joshua Sasse, my beau,” Kylie told the Daily Mail last year, and even hinting that she would like to start a family. “If that were to happen that would be incredible”.

There are two decades between the two, but it appears Kylie has finally found happiness. Minogue has previously shrugged off the 19-year age gap between them, telling an Australian radio station: “I think the general consensus is, we kind of look right together. So even though on paper it might not look right, it just is right. He is an absolutely brilliant, brilliant guy. And even if I try and act cool and natural, it’s written all over my face that I am very happy.”
