It appears a theater chain based in Texas is getting into the spotlight by banning Madonna for her recent texting storm while attending a New York screening.

The chain the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema banned Madonna after her story of rudely texting during the premiere screening of “12 Years A Slave” made headlines last week.   Madonna reacted in a rather annoyed manner when asked to stop which further enflamed the incident.

The theater, which does not own or operate the New York theater where the screening took place pointed out his initial tweet was an “more to of a means to get the issue out there, that it is rude to text during movies”
