For the second time in the last three years, Markus Schulz is once more crowned the #1 American DJ.

The German born trance superstar, now based out of Miami, can be found in a constant state of movement as he travels from one show to another supporting his recently released album entitled Scream 2 as well as pitching in 50% of the talent behind New World Punx, a collaboration between Schulz and Ferry Corsten.

When asked about the win, Schulz replied,“I have never been in this industry for the sole purpose of winning awards, and my biggest accomplishment in life is having the ability to connect and entertain those who believe in me and what I do on a daily basis.”

Following in the procedural footsteps of past winners such as Kaskade, Schulz will be honored in Las Vegas’ Marquee Nightclub on October 12th.
