MILEY CYRUS JOINS THE VOICE

Miley Cyrus has signed on to the popular NBC reality singing competition “The Voice” for its upcoming tenth season. She revealed that she will be a key adviser via a picture post on Twitter:

Cyrus is pictured licking (of course) the button in front of Christina Aguilera’s big red chair. As Billboard reports, “it’s not entirely clear if she will serve as a key adviser to solely Grammy winner and longtime judge [Aguilera]. Taylor Swift made headlines when she served as an adviser on The Voice for all four teams in 2014.” Judges this season are Aguilera, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Pharrell Williams.

Digital Spy says that “NBC executive Paul Telegdy hailed Cyrus’s ‘instincts and wisdom’ as major assets to this season’s Voice hopefuls.”

“Our viewers will be treated to an inside look at one of the brightest minds in music and the entertainment industry who is at the forefront of pop culture,” Telegdy said.

But “The Voice” is not the only place to catch Cyrus in 2016; she’s also going to be starring in Woody Allen’s untitled six-episode series for Amazon.

The first episode of Season 10 of “The Voice” airs on February 29th.
