SIA TO COVER BEATLES SONG FOR KIDS’ SHOW

has had a lot of success in creating original content aimed towards teens and adults, but now they’re really starting to dig into children’s television. And what better way to do so than to introduce the show “Beat Bugs,” which features a group of five bugs who love to explore, set to a soundtrack of Beatles songs covered by today’s famous pop and rock musicians.

is confirmed to be covering “Blackbird,” while Pink is taking on “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. Pitchfork reports that “Yellow Submarine,” “Penny Lane,” “All You Need Is Love,” “Come Together,” “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” and “Help!” will also be covered by many different artists, including the Shins, Regina Spektor, Eddie Vedder, Of Monsters and Men, Chris Cornell, and many more.

“Bringing Beat Bugs to life on and having a platform to re-imagine this universally acclaimed for families around the world is an exhilarating and rewarding experience,” creator/writer/director/ Josh Wakely said in a statement, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
