Well, sorta. The all out DJ for DJ campaigns for the DJ Mag Top 100 top honors have begun and Paul’s team got started by creating a series of promotional videos promoting his shows and tours.
In the video, scenes from United Nations meetings were dubbed over with the famed group voting for their countries leading DJ. In a back end translator room- an operator starts to play a record from Paul Oakenfold. Magically, all the countries come together impressed with the track and vote for Paul Oakenfold. As a hidden treat for his fans, the team created videos of Paul visiting each country. Click on the countries name plates during the video to get the “secret link”.
Paul Oakenfold, who is a English record producer and DJ got his started in the 70s before becoming an A&R for a small European dance label named Champion Records. He went on and in 1988 formed Perfecto Records. In 1998 and 1999, Paul Oakenfold took first place in the DJ Mag’s Top 100.
Paul’s most recent work was writing two songs Cher’s new Album, including the first and lead single “Women’s World.”
