Zara Larrson is no ordinary singer. At the age of ten, she impressed the world with songs of Whitney Houston and Celine Dion, thereby winning the 2008 season of the talent show ‘Talang’, the Swedish version of ‘Got Talent’.

Now all of eighteen years, Zara Larrson’s debut single ‘Lush Life’, released in June 2015, might have reached the top 5 in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany and Austria; but she has already set her sights much higher.

Speaking to RTL Boulevard, she says her biggest idol is Beyonce. “I met Beyonce when she was in Sweden for her Mrs Carter Show. I just cried. She works so hard. I want to be like Beyonce”.

Her new single “Never Forget You”, released July, 2015, teaming up with Grammy-nominated British singer MNEK has hit the No.1 in Sweden and the UK Dance chart, No. 5 in UK, No. 3 in Denmark and 4 in Finland. Her official YouTube channel ‘ZaraLarssonOfficial’ has close to 35 million views, and her voice heard on almost every radio station, the day might not be far when Zara gets as big as the Queen B herself.

It’s hard not to see why.
