Katy Perry’s “Rise” Trending On Dance Charts Globally

After a drought of close to two years, Katy Perry has got back into the act of topping Dance Charts. Her latest single “Rise” has been spotted on Dance Club Song charts globally.

The single “Rise” was released July 14, serving as a reminder to — as Perry stated — “rise above the fear” and how the upcoming Olympic games will showcase the athletes’ “strength and fearlessness, to remind us how we ALL can come together.” In the video released for the single, the pop star definitely braves the elements in the video for the Rio theme song, traveling through desert rocks and waters and climbing walls to “Rise” above, all while attempting to get her parachute going.

Contributing to the popularity of “Rise” as a dance hit is the fact that it’s available in more than six different remixes, including this one from Funk3d Radio Mix, which figues in the Top 100 Nexus Dance Chart.
