The International Music Summit has revealed Yann Pissenem as the recipient of the IMS Legends Award 2026, honouring a career that has reshaped Ibiza and redefined the global electronic music ecosystem. A pioneering force in nightlife and music entertainment, Pissenem is the Owner, Founder and CEO of The Night League and Ushuaïa Entertainment, and the creative visionary behind some of the world’s most influential venues, including Ushuaïa Ibiza, Hï Ibiza, [UNVRS], and Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience.
With more than three decades of experience, Pissenem has played a defining role in elevating Ibiza into the world’s electronic music capital. His approach—merging ambitious production, architectural spectacle, and artist-first programming—has helped transform clubbing into a global cultural experience. Today, The Night League welcomes more than two million guests annually, setting new benchmarks for scale, quality, and cultural impact while continually pushing the boundaries of what nightlife can be.
The award will be formally presented during IMS Ibiza following a headline Keynote Interview with IMS co-founder Pete Tong, offering a deep dive into one of the most fascinating careers in modern music. The celebratory dinner takes place during International Music Summit Ibiza, bringing together leaders from across the global electronic music community.
Reflecting on the honour, Pissenem described Ibiza as both his home and lifelong inspiration, crediting the island’s spirit of creativity and freedom for shaping his understanding of nightlife and electronic music culture. He expressed gratitude to his partners, his brother, artists at every stage of their careers, and the extended network of bookers, managers, agents, promoters, and creative collaborators who have grown alongside the venues. Above all, he paid tribute to the behind-the-scenes teams whose dedication brings these spaces to life night after night.
For Pissenem, the recognition of Hï Ibiza, Ushuaïa Ibiza, and [UNVRS] among the world’s best venues is not an endpoint, but a reflection of a shared mission: to pursue excellence without compromise and to create moments that transcend the ordinary. The award, he emphasised, belongs to everyone who has been part of the journey—from staff and collaborators to the millions of guests who continue to choose these dancefloors each year.
IMS Ibiza returns from April 22–24, welcoming the global electronic music community for three days of conversation, connection, and celebration on the island. With delegate rates set to increase soon, this is the final opportunity to secure badges at the lowest available price.
