STMPD RCRDS Celebrates 10 Years with Exclusive Ibiza Documentary Premiere

Ten years after launching as an independent label with a vision to put artists first, STMPD RCRDS is celebrating a major milestone in a fitting way. The label, founded by Martin Garrix in 2016, has announced the world premiere of its 10 Years documentary, giving fans an inside look at the story behind one of dance music’s most respected independent imprints.

Rather than hosting a large public event, STMPD is keeping the celebration intimate. The documentary will debut on the rooftop of Náutico Ibiza Harbour during three exclusive screenings on July 1 and July 3. Tickets are being sold in pairs on a first-come, first-served basis, with only a limited number available for each showing. It’s the kind of personal experience that reflects the close relationship the label has built with its community over the past decade.

When Martin Garrix launched STMPD RCRDS, the goal was simple: create a home where music and creativity could come first. While it initially served as the outlet for his own releases, the label quickly grew into much more than that. Over the years, it has become a platform for both established names and rising producers, helping shape the careers of artists including Matisse & Sadko, Brooks, Justin Mylo, Julian Jordan, Loopers, DallasK, and many more.

The label has also been behind some of the biggest dance records of the past decade. Martin Garrix’s collaborations with Dua Lipa on “Scared To Be Lonely,” Bebe Rexha on “In The Name Of Love,” and Troye Sivan on “There For You” became global hits that blurred the line between electronic music and mainstream pop. At the same time, STMPD continued to champion fresh talent, giving fans a steady stream of festival favorites while never losing sight of its artist-first philosophy.

As dance music has evolved, so has the label. In recent years, STMPD has embraced a wider range of sounds, from deeper progressive records and releases under Garrix’s GRX alias to collaborations that reach beyond the electronic world. More recently, fans have even gotten a preview of an upcoming collaboration with Madonna, which Garrix debuted during his recent shows in Brooklyn.

The new documentary promises to tell the story behind that evolution. More than just a look back at the music, it explores how STMPD RCRDS grew from a one-artist label into a globally respected independent brand. Expect behind-the-scenes moments, insights into the creative process, and the stories that helped shape the label over its first ten years.

Holding the premiere in Ibiza feels especially fitting. Every summer, the island becomes the center of the electronic music world, bringing together artists, industry professionals, and fans from across the globe. With so much of the dance music community already gathered there, the documentary premiere becomes more than just a screening—it’s a celebration of everything STMPD has accomplished over the past decade.

After ten years of chart-topping releases, discovering new talent, and helping define the sound of modern dance music, STMPD RCRDS has plenty to celebrate. The anniversary documentary offers a chance to reflect on that journey while looking ahead to what’s next, proving that after a decade, the label’s story is only just getting started.
