Twenty years ago, Madonna released her sixth studio album titled Bedtime Stories. The album was a softer feel towards her music and image after the backlash and controversial with Erotica.
The album went on to sold over nine million albums, which went triple-platinum. Let’s compare that to this year’s album sales. So far, no album from an artist will hit the million mark, let alone triple.
Bedtime Stories was also significant because it featured the first track “Bedtime Story” that saw Madonna experimenting with dance music, which become a norm for her Grammy winning Ray of Light and Confessions on a Dance Floor.
Here’s a look some tracks from the album.
