The annual V Festival, which takes place in the UK, has announced their headliners. Headliners were announced just a couple of days ago, and tickets go on sale Friday February 26 at 9:30 AM. So, if you’re planning on attending, best to buy tickets soon since they might be selling out quickly with this fantastic line-up.

This is a weekend long event has campsites available. If you’re in for the festival, it would be best to make sure you get a (good) campsite since they are also likely to sell out quickly. The festival is held at Hylands Park in Essex and Weston Park in South Staffordshire. Traditionally, the festival happens the second to last weekend in August, which makes it August 21-22 this year. Guetta and Rihanna will be playing Weston Park on Saturday while Bieber and Sia play Hylands the same day. On Sunday they switch. In addition to the fabulous headliners, the rest of the line-up looks pretty great as well. Halsey, Faithless, Rita Ora, DJ EZ, Little Mix, Kaiser Cheifs will all be playing, just to name a few.

This last weekend, before the headliners were revealed, rumors started up about who would be headlining. Evidently, a phony mock-up poster went around the internet that caused up quite a stir. It was a poster for the V Festival this year, claiming it would be headlined by Bieber, along with Beyonce and Red Hot Chili Peppers. However, those that manage the V Festival urged fans to wait for the actual announcement. Some were disappointed by real headliners, but some were excited.

The V in V Festival stands for the Virgin Group and is sponsored by Virgin Media. The festival started out more rock focused, but has moved over into the realm of pop a little bit more in recent years. However, this is going to be a great line-up, filled with amazing artists!
